Although the main subject, ie the chairs, are relatively small and does not necessarily dominate the frame, one's eyes are nevertheless immediately drawn to them.
The use of horizontal lines and negative space naturally draw one's line of vision through this image, and the nearly perfect copies of the chairs reflected in the water are so evocative of tranquility, I cannot help but wish I were there right now.

The deeper meaning of two souls whiling away the hours with no distractions, silently enjoying each other's company is evident and ever-present--enhancing the tranquility and providing a depth of meaning beyond just a compelling composition.
