Snow Leopard by KrisVlad Snow Leopard by KrisVlad
The Cincinnati Zoo (one of the best) has a new kitty exhibit. I couldn't get a good shot of the Tiger or the Puma, but Snow Leopard was literally right next to the glass.

I thought I'd hate the blue-ish glare, but I actually liked how it turned out after I burned selected areas. It makes a niiice wallpaper if you're a Mac owner. :)

I like your picture, especially the exposure which is a bit "under".
However, I think u should re-consider as to how u frame and compose your object especially since it's a close up shot. The eyes are a too high (in the case if u want to focus on the eyes). Or, Do u want to give a balanced proportion to the face? (if that so, I think portrait frame will do better.

Btw, for a close up face on position I think it will be better if u position it in the center (horizontally). center doesn't always mean dead composition

This is so gorgeous! There's so much detail, and it looks like he's focusing intently on either killing me or showing a lot of interest in whatever he's glaring at like that. I'm definitely in love with your camera for getting such a well focused shot like this at zoo~

I like the blue glare a lot in this, it makes his/her eyes pop out a lot and really harmonizes with the background with out becoming monochrome or the same hues. Its very nice for a huge wallpaper in someone's living room or bedroom! A lot of people would agree that it's very beautiful and eye capturing. Nice work!

Awesome! Love the space-like eyes and the atmosphere!

Thanks Matt! I don't even know how the glass diffraction made them look like that, but I am pleased with the final shot.

The blue-ish glare mirrors the fierce  blue of its eyes.Beautiful composition.

Snow Leopard is my favorite animal. For the quality of the photo, and the fact that this animal is very rare, the 100Points price is very cheap. (Not that I'm complaining :D). People should be more appreciative. Great shot! Now it's my desktop background Deviation love

Thank you for recognizing the additional perk! Most people don't see how easily attainable most of my images are. I'm glad you like it. I'd say it's my best photo of all time!

I hope NatGeo prints it someday.
