I spend way too much money at the Oakley store. I go there so often "just to look" that the owner now recognizes me. He noticed I was carrying a camera one day and told me to photograph some of my frames and pitch him the work. If he approves, I can hang a print in his store with my sig on it! If not - oh well - I still like this image.

I'm super late to the party, but I absolutely love this shot.  It's both glamorous and chill.  Did the store owner ever hang any of your prints?  If not, he's a fool.  I'm not big into designer sunglasses, but if I saw an ad with this photo, I'd look twice or thrice or a hundred times.

Thank you very much! This is a major throwback! That's when I first started shooting and experimenting with light.

I love this. I saw your question on the Nikon page as to why your submission was declined. I have had so many experiences like this. It is very disheartening. I think, if you were to browse my gallery, my work deserves to be accepted. I really enjoyed seeing your gallery. Many thanks.

Warmest thanks indeed. I have submitted my night shot of the Perth skyline. Let's see what the Nikon pundits decide! Take care.

Thank you! I'm starting to like the color one too I suppose. Still prefer it in B&W though...

the colour one has an entirely different feel to it =p Brighter, warmer, a little psychedelic with the blue/orange hues on the frame =p I would say to look at them as entirely different photos... you'll see more things in them that way =p

I see your point. I just love those Holbrook frames so much... I bought a black pair.

Same style, just all solid black + black lenses. Ideal for the summer. These are more flashy and wintery.

=o black glasses are wintery? That's a new concept to me! =p

No no, black lenses are for the summer. They block more light so your old concept is correct! The clear frames + gold lenses are for the winter. Less blocking and they add a radiant yellow to everything to make it feel warmer.

CUDDLE BUG HUG BECAUSE I LOVE YOU
I've heard it said, and I´m sure it must be true, that receiving hugs is really very good for you. There´s a hug that says, hello, how are you? one especially to cheer you when you´re blue, A sad hug that says, I love you so, The really nice thing about hugs, I o admit, is the more you give away, the more you get, And this little cuddle bug has brought you agreat big hug from me, that´s long overdue!
