Crop by KrisVlad Crop by KrisVlad
I was driving towards the Porsche dealership when I noticed the sun was setting on a huge field of crested wheat crop. The shallow depth of field caused some warm beams of light in the bokeh.

I hope you dig it too! Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

I love the golden-brown hues in this photo -the lightning is very good as well.
Such a nice capture! :sun:

Thank you! I really don't like this shot, but everyone else does, surprisingly.

Gorgeous colours, vibrancy in hue and motion! A beautiful sense of depth, flow, and nature. I'm loving the light contrast, too. Very nicely done.

Thank you! A couple of critics keep telling me that the subject blends in with the background too much. I wish the flower had some color too, but oh well...

There is enough colour, I feel. There isn't a huge range of colours, but there's a beautiful warm mid-tones feel to it. And the subject matter is juxtaposed well against the environment, both meshing in and standing out: exactly how you'd want it to be in the natural world. Everybody has different philosophies and methods, I suppose, that's something that helps make art be so original and inspiring!
