I was driving towards the Porsche dealership when I noticed the sun was setting on a huge field of crested wheat crop. The shallow depth of field caused some warm beams of light in the bokeh.

Thank you! A couple of critics keep telling me that the subject blends in with the background too much. I wish the flower had some color too, but oh well...
There is enough colour, I feel. There isn't a huge range of colours, but there's a beautiful warm mid-tones feel to it. And the subject matter is juxtaposed well against the environment, both meshing in and standing out: exactly how you'd want it to be in the natural world. Everybody has different philosophies and methods, I suppose, that's something that helps make art be so original and inspiring!
